Today we’re excited to exclusively bring you "Money on the Table" - the first track to be heard off Royal Tennyson’s debut EP, December.
"Money On The Table", is a song written about the trials and tribulations of dealing with a woman that is ‘fond of liquor’. It brings the ephemeral verse of lead singer John Tennyson together with a musical backdrop of atmospheric distortion and smooth lullaby.
John describes the song as "A pastiche of experiences I had with a bunch 'a women this year, some of whom liked to drink...more than... Well more than I've seen before...but...But it's not all about that it's about heat and passion and frustration. I don't know I just wrote some shit that fit."
Royal Tennyson will warm your heart before ripping it out of your chest.
Royal Tennyson will tour in support of the track:
Brisbane- 30th October, Trainspotters.
Sydney- 17th October, Brighton Up Bar.
Wollongong - 23rd, Rad Bar.
